Material Handler - Sewer Equipment : Job Details

Sewer Equipment provides the highest quality and most innovative sewer cleaning products for the municipal and contractor market. Job Summary: The Material Handler is responsible to accurately transfer products with a forklift, both physically and logically, into and/or out of the facility in a timely manner. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
• Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
• Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
• Confirms shipping details or special instructions; expedites shipments that affect the manufacturing process schedule.
• Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).
• When problems arise, resolves issues with contractors or vendors.
• Validates, approves, and forwards invoices to accounting department.
• Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Commitments and Location:

• Permanent Full-Time Role Based in Dixon, IL
• Day Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:30 am- 5:00pm

Benefits Include: Pay Range of $16.53 - $21.49. Productivity Bonus, paid quarterly. Average 2023 payout was $4/hour. Education and Experience:

• 1-2 years' Forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures inside and outside of the warehouse.
