Material Handler - Wagner Lumber : Job Details

Our Owego, NY facility is hiring for Material Handler / General Laborer. If you previously worked as a warehouse worker or any entry level general labor position before, you'll be a great fit for this role. Material Handler Details

• Top, bottom and outside pieces will be the longest
• All edges will be free of knots, wane, and other defects
• Bundle must be square with edge boards against the pipes of the cart
• Build each bundle until full and finish off with a nice top layer
• Push out finished bundle for forklift to remove

Material Handler Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Detail oriented
• Able to lift 50+ lbs continuously
• Self-motivated, organized and able to multi-task
• Great attitude
• Standing for long periods of time, bending and stooping

Nice to Have Skills

• Previous experience as a warehouse worker preferred
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide, read a measuring tape, calipers, digital indicators)
• High School degree preferred, but not required
