Material Handler - Manpower Group : Job Details

Our client, a leading logistics company, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler you will be part of the Logistics department supporting the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years recent experience operating a stand up forklift or a standup Reach forklift. Must have strong attention to detail, able to operate in a fast paced environment while keeping safety in mind at all times.

Location: Liberty, MO

Pay Range: $21.44 - $22.44 per hour depending on shift

What's the Job?

• Picking orders using an RF Scan gun
• Packing orders in a tote
• Labeling and kitting
• Possibly operating a standup, standup reach, a sit-down forklift or a tugger when needed to pull orders, load and unload trucks
• Performing a variety of warehouse tasks and duties as assigned under the direction of management

What's Needed?

• Must have experience operating a StandUp forklift or Stand up Reach - This is a union environment and you may not be on a lift all of the time.
• Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability
• Ability to perform physically intensive labor including motions such as reaching, bending, picking up, lifting weight up to 50 pounds as needed, walking for periods of time, standing for periods of time
• Must be able to perform duties in a warehousing type environment, working well in busy conditions which may be noisy at times
• Ability to take direction and work in accordance to set standards of performance and safety
