Clair Global Product is growing and is looking to add a Material Handler to their team. The Material Handler plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout the manufacturing facility. They are responsible for counting, inspecting, and storing materials, transporting them throughout the facility, and ensuring that workstations are adequately stocked to meet production needs. By maintaining accurate inventory records, performing routine counts, and assisting with shipping and receiving operations, the Material Handler helps to minimize production delays and ensure timely delivery of finished products to customers. Their attention to safety and proper equipment handling also contributes to maintaining a safe and organized work environment, supporting the overall productivity and operational success of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the essential functions of this job while exercising independent judgment and discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and adapt to shifting priorities
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role is preferred
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic shipping and receiving practices is advantageous
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Accurately maintain inventory records, updating stock levels in the ERP system
- Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
- Transport materials between various storage areas and to production areas as needed and complete required documentation for material movements and inventory adjustments
- Ensure continuous material availability to prevent production delays
- Communicate material shortages, overages, and other issues to supervisors
- Work closely with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow
- Keep storage areas, workstations, and warehouses organized and free of hazards
- Follow company safety policies and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials when applicable.
- Assist other departments during peak periods or staffing shortages as needed
