Material Handler - Architectural Fabrication : Job Details

PURPOSE The purpose of this position is to support the logistics department by managing the incoming and outgoing material. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Willingness/Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Contributes to the orderly operation of the stock and/or materials storage area.
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
• Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items onto and off trucks and trailers.
• Keep inventory, loading areas, and equipment clean.
• Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
