Material Handler We are hiring for multiple Material Handlers to join our team. As a material handler, you will be responsible for the production process by ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies. Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather, weigh and blend materials.
  • Maintain supply of raw materials to machines (raw material, colors, etc.)
  • Grind material, label regrind, keep grinding area organized and clean.
  • Assists in purging machines and cleaning magnets in the hopper throat.
  • Connect vacuum system to supply material to machines.
  • Document movement of materials and complete all required paperwork.
  • Gather lot control information for Quality Control.
  • Help to monitor inventory levels and advise supervision of low volumes.
  • Check equipment (blenders, dye feeders, grinders, etc.)
  • Unload bulk resin trailers.
  • Keep work area clean and maintain proper housekeeping and sanitation.
  • Maintains safety in the department.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a material handler or in a related role preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
