Material Handler - Catalyst Exhibits : Job Details

Position Summary: This position is responsible for general warehouse duties, including forklift operations. Essential Job Functions: • Prepare various merchandise for delivery; prepare packages for shipping according to established procedures. • Move, locate, relocate, stack and count merchandise using a forklift. • Load and unload freight. • Receive, identify, mark and place materials sent to the warehouse according to established procedures. • Process requisitions for supplies. • Notify supervisors of problems that are not resolved. • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift. • Strictly follow all safety guidelines to insure the safety of own self and other co-workers. Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned Required/Preferred Education and Experience: • 1+ years previous experience preferred Required/Preferred Skills/Training: • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings • Carpentry experience a plus Language Skills: • Excellent verbal communication skills Certifications, Licensees or Registrations Required/Preferred: • Forklift certification a plus Physical Requirements/Work Environment: • Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis Must have manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with fingers and perceive attributes of objects and materials. • Will be required to regularly stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach, push and pull.
