Position Overview: Unload trailers, sort, and label raw materials, put away product to pick locations, move materials to/from production areas, palletize /shrink wrap pallets, scan information using RF, load full pallets onto trucks using manual or electric pallet jacks. You will be operating powered industrial equipment which could include, but is not limited to forklifts, order pickers, manual or electric pallet jack equipment or MEWPS equipment. There are openings on a non-rotating 2-2-3 schedule (545a-6p or 545p-6a) at our Horseshoe Beverage facility in Neenah, WI and at the Trilliant Distribution Center in Neenah, WI. Responsibilities:
- Load/Unload trucks
- Accurately pick orders for customers or materials for production and complete required paperwork
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50lbs-100lbs on a regular basis for up to 12 hours.
- Operating equipment to produce final mix and/or bulk ingredients to be use in final mix.
- Navigating Human Interface Screen to select proper recipe and monitor progress of recipe throughout batch.
- Kitting of batches through weigh out of minor ingredients.
- Responsible to accurately create and consume inventory in an inventory management system.
- Operating a forklift to move pallets of raw material.
- Sanitation of the plant and equipment.
- Performance of Quality Checks & Inspections
- Accurately use RF equipment for order and material recording
- Utilize computer skills to work in the ERP system and other necessary programs.
Qualifications:
- Certification will be provided but previous stand-up equipment experience or certification is required.
- High School diploma or GED preferred. Post-secondary education is a plus.
- The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required.
- Food processing or packaging experience is preferred.
- Able to pull, twist and lift 50lbs-100lbs.
- Understanding of food safety, workplace safety, and food quality standards is strongly preferred.
- Self-directed and personally motivated
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer knowledge
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while focusing on meeting or exceeding customer/company expectations.
- Good team player able to work/communicate well with others and contribute to a positive work environment.
Physical and Mental Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
