Material Handler - Jetpack Shipping : Job Details

We are always on the lookout for like minded individuals to add to our ever growing staff.We are looking for a Material Handler to help organize our storage areas and maintain our inventory. Material Handlers are integral warehouse workers. The main material handler duties revolve around moving material around the facility as needed. As a Material Handler, you'll monitor inventory and communicate any shortages. You should have great attention to detail to maintain accurate records. Some physical strength is required since you may often need to lift packages by hand. If you're reliable and fast on your feet, we'd like to meet you. We are looking for first shift 7:30am to 3:30pm.ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload packagesOrganize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, cranes etc.Receive and check incoming pick ticketsPull material to fulfil orders properlyWrap orders and place them on trucks for deliveryMonitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when neededDocument orders, materials and any stock movementsSkillsProven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar positionFamiliarity with voice picking systems or RF devices is a plusExperience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks)Strong communication skillsDexterity and attention to detailOrganizational skillsAbility to meet the physical demands of the jobLicense to operate forklifts a plusAvailability to occasionally work overtimeJob Type: Full-timeSalary: From $14.50 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeWeekend availabilityEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: In person
