Position: Operator I - Material Handler Location: Carrollton, TX Wage:$25.46/hr + 2nd Shift Differential $0.65 Shift: 2nd Shift **OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED**

While reporting to the Shift Supervisor you will work in production for our Rigid Paper Container division and will be responsible for working in a safe manner. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. As an Operator I you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of production operations and upholding all Product Safety guidelines.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Safely transport liner, separators and other raw materials to production lines.
• Safely operate the forklift to move raw materials and finished product in/out of the trailer and storage.
• Ensure that assigned area is clean and set-up with the proper materials for the next scheduled operating shift. Responsible for overall housekeeping and appearance of the assigned work areas.
• Interpret the daily production schedule and know dough changes to enable accurate and efficient movement of materials using FIFO method.
• Properly handle, sort and/or segregate and contain defective product. Follow all prescribed reject procedures. Responsible for immediately communicating defective production to pertinent operators and supervision.
• Perform daily forklift and yard truck and trailer safety inspection checks at the beginning of each shift reporting any malfunctions to your supervisor and maintenance department. Follow all safety rules during battery changing.
• Train co-workers and new hires as needed or directed.
• Uphold all Product Safety guidelines.
• Maintain outside warehouse organized.

This position is located in Carrollton, TX.
