Material Handler - ATI : Job Details

We are seeking a Material Handler to work in our Monroe, NC facility. In this position you are responsible for moving materials from the production floor to the shipping area. A successful candidate will be eager to learn and be able to work independently.

Additional Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to receive product, stage pallets, move super sacks, and stock inventory

• Receive orders from the floor lead and through radios

• Work from sales, shipping or other orders and documents to locate and accumulate all specified materials to fill individual orders.

• Apply prescribed color or other coding and identification to materials.

• Enter quantity, mill order number and other data on mill order traveler for forwarding to Production Planning for bill of lading preparation.

• Detect and report defective materials and improper and unusual conditions to proper supervision

• Follow and implement all prescribed safety rules and regulations
