Fast-paced manufacturing company in Warminster, PA has an immediate need for a Material Handler. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the inventory used in the manufacture of our products are available on time, in the correct location, and in sufficient quantities. * Move staged project into shop floor inventory work cell. o Verify and log inventory. o Track inventory by work orders within project ID. o Ensure bin items are available/stocked. o Work with Supply Chain to identify and rectify shortages. * Receive inventory from the stockroom and receiving departments. o Locate project on shop floor and stage inventory with project. o Verify and log inventory. o Track inventory by work orders within project ID. * Create and maintain report of inventory shortages by project. * Stage inventory by shop floor department. o Welding, Electrical, and Assembly (Chamber and Condenser). * Control when parts are taken for projects other than what they are assigned. o Walk through the process to un-allocated and re-allocated parts to the proper project. o Work with Supply chain to order parts that were used to eliminate any shortages. * Maintain Bin Inventory o Keep organized shop floor bin locations. o Create and maintain proper bin inventory levels o Work with Supply Chain and order material to maintain bin inventory levels. * Work with other departments and put back to inventory any inventory that was not used for a project. o Create report with part number and quantity of excess inventory. o Work with Supply Chain to identify items that should be scrapped and items that should be put back to inventory. o Work with the stockroom to get valid inventory back to stock. * Expedite inventory through the various departments. o When priority parts are identified, ensure they are moved through the process in a timely fashion following proper procedure. o Work with receiving, supply chain and the stockroom to expedite parts in a timely matter to ensure the shop floor continuous workflow. * Work with the shop floor to maintain and keep organized the shop floor. o Remove any empty pallets and place in wood dumpster o Move inventory as directed by shop floor supervisors. o When directed move staged inventory to shop floor work cell. * Follow up as requested to track and acquire status of maintain in-house manufactured items. o Provide status regarding delivery or problems/issues. o Ensure works are transacted properly and material is moved properly through the process. * Perform other related duties as assigned. * Follow all established guidelines, instructions, policies, and procedures. Job Requirements * High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. * Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn Company-specific systems. * Familiarity with using MRP/ERP systems * Familiarity with electronic office and business equipment. * Solid communication skills, including written and interpersonal. * Ability to ask for help when needed, and willingness to learn. * Confidence and professionalism in representing the Company. * Willingness to be a team player, and take direction from management. * Must be self-directed and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
