Material Handler - Road & Rail Services : Job Details

Position Overview: As a Material Handler, you'll be responsible for loading fertilizer from an overhead system directly into railcars. This role is ideal for those with industrial experience, but if you're eager to learn, we welcome you to apply! Experience with industrial material handling is preferred, and a Florida Phosphate Producers (FPP) card is a plus. Above all, we're looking for individuals with a strong commitment to safety and reliability who are interested in building a long-term career.

• Safely load fertilizer products into train cars from overhead systems
• Climb to heights of 15-20 feet for inspections and product transfers
• Inspect and seal tank cars and trucks as needed
• Operate equipment such as small tractors and golf carts for site operations
• Conduct preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
• Maintain compliance with all site safety and environmental protocols, including hazardous material handling
• Perform housekeeping tasks to keep the site clean and organized

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Industrial experience preferred but not required
• Florida Phosphate Producers (FPP) card is a plus
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise)
• Able to climb ladders to heights over 20 feet and cross open spans at heights
• Physical ability to lift, pull, push, and carry weights up to 60 lbs and walk up to 10 miles per shift
• Must be able to wear all required PPE
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to work independently
