The Material Handler must have good customer service skills. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft software, will support the successful candidate. The ability to work independently and be a responsible self-starter is essential for success in this position.Essential Functions:* Work under direction of warehouse lead* Pull and issue material for construction and maintenance projects* Inspect material* Transfer material* Replenish material* Process orders* Perform quality control* Inventory auditing/accounting functions* Perform routine maintenance* Prepare for disposal of materials* Recycle and salvage materials* Operate forklift* Assist in emergency restoration* Support other warehouse workloads as required* Perform general housekeeping, cleaning and sweeping daily or as needed* Band transformers* Data entryMinimum Qualifications:* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)* Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft softwarePhysical Demands:* Stand up to 90% of the time* Lift up to 50lbsEqual Employment OpportunityOn-Target is an equal employment opportunity provider.
