Wieland is hiring a Material Handler. The Material Handler will be responsible for material handling and maintenance of scrap in accordance with set standards and company policy.

Starting Pay: $18 HR

Schedule: 1st Shift, M - F, 7-3:30PM

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

    Proper raw material handling, moving and identification, including hoppers & chip barrels throughout the shop
  • Proper scrap material handling, moving and identification
  • Operate forklifts, side-loaders, manual and electric pallet jacks, and overhead cranes
  • Load trucks and efficiently stage product
  • Maintaining of storage areas
  • Change forklift propane tanks when necessary
  • Basic housekeeping and janitorial duties including, but not limited to stocking paper towels and cleaning the shop floor

Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics
  • Basic forklift safety
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Trained and licensed in operation of forklifts
