Job Title: Material HandlerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Material Handler to join our team. A material handler/forklift operator is responsible for handling various materials (raw and finished materials), shipping/fulfillment functions, and receiving/put-away. This role would be utilizing the sit-down & stand-up forklift to transport materials.Schedule: 2:00pm-10:30pm (M-F, overtime available outside of regular schedule based off demands)Pay: Starting pay is $23.00 per hourLocation: Northbrook, ILResponsibilitiesUtilize the warehouse equipment including the forklift, pallet jack, RF scanner, and other relating equipment/toolsResponsible for picking orders (Locating materials within inventory/stock)Complete written and digital documentation as needed, ensuring accurate record keepingSelect appropriate tanks based on manufacturing requirements and batch sizePick required raw materials from the raw material warehouse as per the formulaScan raw materials using a barcode scanner to ensure lot number and quantity accuracyStage raw materials and add them to the tank according to work order manufacturing instructionsPrepared outbound shipments through packaging, palletizing, and staging of shipmentFollow GMP, safety guidelines, and proceduresEssential SkillsExperience in receiving products using a forklift (stand-up and sit-down).Experience in a warehouse setting or logisticsExperience working within a GMP environment (worked around/with materials in a food grade, medical device, or chemicals environment)Why Work Here?In today's world, employee benefits are an essential part of a compensation package.
