Job Summary:We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to manage shipping, receiving, packaging, and inventory transactions. In this role, you will ensure the smooth and accurate movement of materials within the warehouse or production area. You will be responsible for operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with other departments to ensure materials are handled efficiently and safely.Key Responsibilities:

• Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with appropriate departments to ensure timely and accurate material flow.
• Inventory Management: Responsible for inventory picking, packaging, and routing materials to the correct departments based on business needs.
• Shipment Preparation: Assist in preparing materials for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly packaged, labeled, and ready for dispatch.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of transactions, verifying the accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or other relevant documents in systems like Oracle or other ERP systems.
• ERP System Management: Set up locations in the ERP system and resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders and receiving with planner-buyers.
• Stock Organization: Organize stock in an efficient manner to ensure easy accessibility and efficient workflow.
• Equipment Operation & Safety: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools or machinery, adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
• Product Delivery: Ensure products are delivered from receiving areas to the appropriate departments for further processing or storage.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with inventory management and basic shipping/receiving processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with other departments.
• Experience using ERP systems like Oracle or other warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments.
• Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with Oracle or other inventory management systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, such as bills of lading and invoices.
• Previous experience with inventory reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.

Certifications:Forklift Certification or any other relevant material handling certifications (Preferred).OSHA Certification for safety training (Preferred).
