General Job DescriptionStraddle Carrier/Forklift Operator-SpotterSign-On Bonus: $2,500Pay: Up to $21.00/HourShift Differential: $2.00/hr.Company: Freeman Enclosure SystemsClassification: Non-Exempt/HourlyPOSITION SUMMARYThe best candidate will have experience in material handling in the manufacturing industry with knowledge in electrical and mechanical tools, parts, and supplies.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSIdentify incoming shipments and compare against bill of ladings (BOL) and purchase order records.Sort, count, package, label, unpack, and/or log inbound inventory.POSITION REQUIREMENTSMust be able to move heavy and awkward loads with 15,000LB+ forklifts and experience with mobile cranes.Set up all weld bays with their jobs.Assist with welding within fabrication, pull materials, or set up jobs.Load and unload material on and off trucks.Must be flexible to work where needed and self-motivated at a fast pace.EXPERIENCE REQUIREDHeavy industrial machinery moving - General warehouse forklift not applicable.Two years minimum experience with mobile cranes or 15,000lb forklifts and awkward loads.Rigging experience.Manufacturing background exposure.Must have superior organizational skills.Must pass forklift test.Equal Opportunity Employer: Minorities/Women/Veterans/DisabilityGender Identity/Sexual OrientationSpecific QualificationsMust be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen, and when applicable if duties involve operating a motor vehicle, must be able to pass a motor vehicle record check.Company OverviewIES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to a variety of end markets, including electrical, mechanical, and communications contracting solutions for the commercial, industrial, residential, and renewable energy markets.
