The Material Handler performs a critical role by being responsible for the receipt of all materials, and their transport between Mixing, Production, and Fulfillment Departments. Effective communication skills, good record keeping, consistent attendance, strong time management abilities on a strict daily schedule, and the capacity to complete a wide range of system and physical duties on time during a typical workday are all necessary for this role.Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect each shipment for quality. Inbound and outgoing truck and container inspections are part of this.
• Report any product flaws that you discover to Procurement and Quality.
• Keep meticulous records of every shipment you receive, noting lot numbers, dates, amounts, and other specifics.
• Assemble and arrange every production item in anticipation of the daily work shift. Can lids and other raw components must be physically depalletized on a daily or weekly basis.
• Collaborate with fulfillment supervisor, perform multiple daily walkthroughs of fulfillment to replenish items on the e-commerce pick lines.
• Store all received material as needed following FIFO and FEFO criteria per the Supply Chain, Production, and Quality Team directions.
• Prepare outbound shipments in a timely manner.

Material Handler Qualifications:

• Highly effective record keeping skills.
• Ability to change tasks quickly and perform a variety of job function on a precise daily schedule.
• Reliably reporting to work on time.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., and occasionally up to 65 lbs.
• Will be required to stand, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to operate a computer, telephone and other manufacturing/warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work in mid-hygiene areas of the facility. This includes adhering to company production dress code policies, especially regarding any and all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements (such as hair nets, gloves, jewelry, etc.) as directed by the QA Manager.
• Demonstrate strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs) installed by the QA Manager.
