Material Handler - Tarkett S.A. : Job Details

Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials; accurately plan and schedule incoming and outbound shipments; interact with delivery drivers, managers, and associates. Determine shipping method, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments; organize outbound shipments in the Warehouse for pickup; ensure correct labeling on outgoing product. Prepare documents, such as, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials. Record shipment data such as weight, charges, space availability, damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes. Operate material handling equipment including pallet wrapper. Notify appropriate personnel of quality issues. Enter receiving and shipping information into CAMs. Notify end user of incoming products.
