Material Handler - Canadian Solar : Job Details

Job Description

The Material Handler is responsible for tasks involving physical labor in a manufacturing plant. The Material Operator will be responsible for the efficient of products according to established procedures following all safety protocols and workplace policies to ensure profitable business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver raw materials to production lines as needed
• Operate with ERP system to balance raw materials.
• Handle material issues to minimize losses caused by line shut down
• Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0-2 years (HS graduates, minimal work experience)
• Able to take continental shift
• SAP, and ERP system skills
• Electric Pallet Jack experience
• Inventory Control
• Demonstrated ability to complete the above responsibilities
• Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
• Attention to detail in all areas of work
