Material Handler - Zekelman Industries : Job Details

Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy. Stages and loads finished goods on to trucks (40%) Issues raw materials to production and support their needs. (20%) Scan finished goods with barcode scanner, verifying all information. (25%) Performs cycle counts. (5%) Assists with various production operations as needed. (15%) Willing to cross train and work with other team members as needed. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 2 years' experience driving electric and/or propane forklifts; forklift certification preferred. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / COMPETENCIES Forklift experience/certification Scanner/ Inventory/ Cycle-counts Good problem solving and detail orientation, with the ability to properly transport bundles of diverse size and follow established processes. Good organization skills, with the ability to handle several instructions at once, and prioritize tasks as needed....Material Handler, Manufacturing
