MATERIAL HANDLER - Personnel Services : Job Details

Clean and prepare metal and various materials for welding. Assist in finishing parts, tanks, and pans by grinding, polishing, or painting. Supply welders with materials for current and future projects. Manage material flow and storage efficiently. Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and telehandlers to transport materials and projects safely. Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and load materials. Load trailers using a forklift. Operate metal fabrication machines such as grinders, drills, and presses, and complete shipment paperwork. Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions to accurately create parts while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Assist in lifting and moving heavy materials as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to support workplace efficiency and safety. Inspect and report on the condition of trailers and collection containers.
