Material Handler - HRU Inc Technical Resources : Job Details

Material HandlerLocation: Spartanburg, SC Contract: 12 months (possible extension) Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 PM for 2 weeks, then 7:00 PM-7:00 AM) Compensation: $20/hour with optional benefits Onboarding Requirements: Background check and drug screening Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse and packaging line operations.
• Ability to handle receiving, transporting, storing, and shipping raw materials and finished goods.
• Proficient in operating liquid filling packaging lines for drums and bulk totes.
• Skilled in completing documentation accurately.
• Strong commitment to maintaining workplace cleanliness and organization.

ResponsibilitiesInventory Management

• Identify, label, and place materials and supplies in stock.
• Record inventory locations to ensure accurate tracking.

Order Fulfillment

• Pull and verify materials listed on production orders.
• Deliver and open materials at work centers to maintain in-process inventory.

Documentation

• Record units delivered and their locations.
• Document product shipments and material dispositions.

Receiving & Stocking

• Verify codes, lot numbers, and quantities of returned materials.
• Appropriately place materials in stock.

Shipping Preparation

• Identify, pull, pack, crate, load, and secure finished products for shipment.

Equipment Maintenance

• Conduct pre-use inspections and perform operator-level repairs on material-handling equipment.

Team Contribution

• Support team objectives by completing related tasks as needed.
