Material Handler - Roberts Warehousing : Job Details

The Material Handler is responsible for operating a forklift for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, counting, unloading, and loading merchandise within the warehouse. The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient use of industrial vehicles and equipment. The Material Handler is responsible for order selection and inspection, as needed. The incumbent must have a clear understanding of, and adhere to, Wavepoint Warehousing operational and safety policies and procedures. The incumbent will also be asked to assist in unstacking, packing, shrink wrapping, and restacking pallets of products to make variety or display packs for customers. Essential Functions. Inspect trailers and inbound materials for signs of shipment damage, contamination, and infestation. Report any damages to supervision. Verify quantities, lot numbers, and production code dates against manifests and driver documents.
