Material Handler - Buckeye Corrugated : Job Details

Material Handler FULL-TIME

$21/hr

- Load, unload, stack, and stage corrugated products and materials safely and efficiently.- Follow all established safety rules, policies, and procedures.- Unload inbound dry van trailers and verify product accuracy against the bill of lading.- Stage products on the production line to support workflow.- Move completed products into storage or warehouse areas.- Load outbound dry van trailers and ensure shipment accuracy.- Pull and prepare orders for shipment, verifying the correct number and type of product.- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.- Work full-time in a manufacturing plant or warehouse setting.

Schedule

Shift start: 6:00AM or 7:00AM Shift length: 7 - 13.5 hours Monday - Friday. Some Saturdays and overtime required

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18+ years old

Must have a valid drivers licenseHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Basic computer skills required.Experience with electronic shipping computer systems is a plus.Previous PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) experience and/or certifications required.Ability to learn and understand machine lineup.Ability to stand, walk, and communicate regularly.Frequent use of hands for adjusting and handling products.Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.Vision abilities required include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
