Material Handler (Lewis Run, PA) - Allegheny Bradford : Job Details

Job Summary:Responsible for processing materials for production orders, sales orders and transfer orders.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Neatly and accurately complete necessary paperwork: timesheet, 5S checklist and requisitions for production materials.* Correctly use computer to perform duties such as: clock-in and clock-out, create labels for parts, and perform search of inventory information including on-hand quantities and locations.* Use handheld barcode scanner.* Maintain correct stock quantities through cycle counts.* Accurately read and use tape measure.* Operate fabrication machinery, i.e. shear, band saw, abrasives saw, etc.* Must be able to read blueprints and calculate dimensional requirements for production materials.* Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.* Safely operate forklift to load and unload trucks. (Requires valid Driver's License)* Carefully operate cranes, hoists, or other moving or lifting equipment.* Regularly check shelves to determine items needed for stock replenishment. Pull overflow items necessary to fill these shelves.Tools and Technology Skills:Regular use of desktop computer including Microsoft Office / AX Dynamics and shipping/receiving related websites or software, copier/scanner, fax, telephone, and handheld barcode scanner.Requires valid driver's license and good driving record.Hourly position available on 1st shift: M-F 6:30 am- 3:00pm.
