**Material Handler (nightshift)**

Production Dayton, Ohio Minimum Experience **Entry-level** Trusscore is seeking a Material Handler to support production by maintaining a safe working area and monitoring quality throughout the shift and being responsible for packaging products safely, using SOP documents ensuring it is completed correctly. These duties include transferring skids of materials using a forklift, stacking, visual inspection of the product, measuring and cutting wood, and using a nail gun to package the product as well as ongoing communication, and paperwork. Your Mission

Responsibilities

* Ability to work independently, and with a team.

* Ensures consistency of product within specification.

* Communicate with operators #1 and 2 throughout the shift.

* Ensure waste reports are completed.

* Fill out forklift inspection reports at beginning of every shift.

* Neatly package all products and boxing trim.

* Create the skids for the product, using a nail gun.

* Keep the shop clean/wipe down machines during the shift.

* Keep the yard clean, wood scraps, skids, etc.

* Ensuring all scrap produced is documented as required.

* Team-oriented, willing to share knowledge and successful techniques with your colleagues to ensure optimal team performance.

* Work within the parameters of Company policies and procedures.

* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Dynamic, self-motivated, positive with a good attitude.

* Forklift License (asset)

* Experience using a nail gun (asset)

* Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong time management with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and activities.

* Ability to overcome challenges with patience and creativity.

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Factory experience (asset)

Work Conditions

This position will be a 12-hour continental shift. Nightshift: 7 am - 7 pm

Compensation

We offer competitive wages and benefits that start on day one!

Starting wage: $16/hr + 0.50/hr night shift premium.

Benefits include dental, vision and prescription coverage.
