Material Handler Specialist - Twin City Staffing : Job Details

Hopkins is seeking a skilled material handler specialist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring efficient material flow, supporting production needs, and maintaining a safe working environment. Location: Saint Louis Park, MN Wage: $22 - $24/hr., Depending on qualifications Hours: Alternating weekly schedule:

• 40-hour week: Tuesday - Friday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm
• 50-hour week: Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm

Duties of the material handler specialist:

• Safely and efficiently load and unload materials, products, and equipment
• Support production material and equipment needs to maintain product flow
• Manage raw materials as scheduled on machines
• Properly move and store auxiliary equipment
• Package finished products for shipment
• Enter data into the system for raw material and finished product status changes
• Assist in developing a cross-trained, multi-functional workforce

Requirements of the material handler specialist:

• High school diploma or GED
• Forklift certification
• Basic computer knowledge
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Pass a background check and drug test
