Title: Material Handler, 2nd Shift. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4:30 pm to 3:00 a.m. The Material Handler is responsible for performing tasks involving the shipping and receiving of both raw and finished materials. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:Operating mechanical forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock picker lift trucks. Operating and maintaining RF Scanner (handheld warehouse computer). Accurate and timely selecting of customers orders Accurately completing work order sheets. Working on both the Receiving and Shipping docks as needed. Unload trucks and validate deliveries against appropriate documentation, and notify supervisor or FSQ of discrepancies. Unload meat trucks and complete weighing and temperature review of each pallet and documenting each measurement. Notify Supervisor or Food Safety Quality (FSQ) of any discrepancies.
