Material Handler- Warehouse- Apparel Sorter - Henrietta, NY - Goodwill : Job Details

The apparel sorter sorts and prepares the donated apparel to be able to sell in the salvage market. The Apparel Processor is responsible for production in the salvage department. This individual will sort, hang, tag, and label products according to standard operating procedures. They will also provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment. This position may also be cross-trained and responsible for additional duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial - Sustains growth through financial stewardship & fiscal responsibility. Meets minimum daily quota set for assigned department of 12 Gaylords or more and 1,300 pounds or more. Inspects donated merchandise, as required, analyzing quality and determining proper category. Tallies each Gaylord that is processed, then weighs all summer, winter and biggie Gaylords and records onto tally sheets.
