Actively recruiting for 1st shift Material Handlers in Vernon Hills, IL! This is a temp to hire opportunity, previous experience is required.

**SUMMARY:**

* Inspect, sort, store and perform data entry for all core, inbound part/unit shipments, and returned goods according to established TS procedures

* Make boxes, and identify proper packaging containers for shipment

* Pick and pack assigned parts according to shop order pick tags or use of RF hand held device.

* Support further shop order activity by picking parts for shop unit builds, fulfillment of Kan-Ban systems and completing return to stock transactions.

* As needed, transfer stock physically and electronically using computer and/or RF guns.

* Pick and pack customer orders by unit/parts according to order notes.

* Weigh, route, stage and load freight according to order notes and carrier shipping instructions.

* Operate forklifts or hand carts.

* Support safety and good housekeeping in the performance of Distribution Center duties.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Must be able to read and write English.

* Minimum 6 months previous experience in a warehouse role

* Minimum 6 months previous experience driving forklift

* basic math and equipment measurement skills

* good verbal and written communication skills in English

* Repetitive heavy lifting may be required

**SCHEDULE**

**1st & 2nd Shift Opportunities Available:**

* **1st** **Shift:** 6:00AM - 2:30PM; M-F

*Willing to be flexible with scheduling* **Pay**: $17.00

* **2nd Shift: 2:30pm-6:00pm.**Willing to be flexible with scheduling. **Pay**: $18.70
