Job Description :

  • Successfully complete area-based on-the-job training to the satisfaction of the Business Integration Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain the supply of essential materials so as not to disrupt continuous production; align logistics efforts to support this goal while seeking to provide quantifiable results (minimize working capital, improved reliability, risk mitigation, etc.)
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize supply vulnerability according to routine market and logistics risk assessment in conjunction with Sourcing and Logistics team.
  • Manage working capital by assuring updated inventory projection, SAP update and allocation strategy in conjunction with Production, Asia sourcing team and Global Logistics team.
  • Lead supply quality issues and delivery date delays management in conjunction with vendors, sourcing, technical and operations team
  • Lead the development of packaging material new vendors in conjunction with sourcing, technical and operations team.
  • Proactively act on crisis scenario and mitigation actions implementation within Commercial, Sourcing, Logistics, Procurement, Planning and Production areas
  • Assure development, implementation and disciplined Standard Job Procedure execution for planning processes (i.e., monthly reconciliation, Master Data creation and extensions, orders planning, vendors change, etc.)
  • Be the first contact with Accounting and Tax team to assure compliance on the planning process and data integrity.
  • Assure data integrity on the material planning processes.
  • Support planning team by managing essential materials setup, ordering, receiving, consumption, and monthly inventory reconciliation.
  • Set up and maintain all ingredients and finished product Material Masters, BOM's, Recipes, Work Centers, Crew Factors, etc. in SAP and shop floor systems. Monitor interfaces and data consistency between systems and troubleshoot as needed for error resolution between shop floor systems and SAP. Perform spinning machine setups and merge reference identification and maintenance.
  • Place orders to provide appropriate supply to meet production demand and maintain safety stock levels.
  • Share information with area owners regarding lead times, delivery quantity options, etc. so decisions regarding appropriate safety stock levels can be made.
  • Perform physical counts and monthly/annual inventory reconciliation.
  • Execute finished product shipments for all site operational areas.
  • Setup and maintain waste and waste processes (fiber stock) in SAP and/or shop floor systems.
  • Generate, evaluate, and recommend options to area owners regarding potential supply interruptions due to quality, delivery, or other supply problems.
  • Interface with suppliers.
  • Maintain regular communications with suppliers to evaluate supply risks, improve vendor deliveries and work with area to evaluate alternatives, and select/implement appropriate paths forward.
  • Maintain appropriate records within SAP documenting vendor feedback and problem resolution.
  • Perform annual supplier evaluations.
  • Manage data associated with imports and inter-company transfers (SAP, shop floor systems, etc.)
  • Assist operations with vendor transitions from by managing inventory as directed by plant.
  • Manage customer return process: Arrange for transportation of returns, enter returns into SAP (and other systems), notify owner area/quality when returns are received and execute solution selected by area (write off, downgrade, etc.) for all site operational areas.
  • Interface with Logistics and manage demurrage by monitoring delivery/unload dates, placement, etc.
  • Assist AP and work with Purchasing Agents to resolve questions/VIM issues related to inventory/records of essential ingredients, freight payments, etc.
  • Provide areas with reports (consumption, inventory, etc.) on routine basis.
  • Maintain official business records (SAP) and other appropriate documentation in accordance with ISO, GAAP, RIM, etc.
Qualifications (Required):
  • Associate degree or higher, preferably in the areas of Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or other related fields.
  • Valid government issued driver's license.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate well with others.
  • 10+ years of experience working in material resourcing, operations, or logistics.
Qualifications (Preferred):
  • Experience working with SAP
  • College coursework or experience in Statistics.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in the areas of Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or other related fields.
