Summary Team Member will provide customer service and technical assistance to the Wausau Homes Builder Federation. They will assist our builders by investigating and processing inquiries regarding material orders, warranties, service, and shortage claims. Team Member will also perform estimates for interior and exterior materials. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate service and warranty needs while working together with sales, scheduling, purchasing, vendors, and the customer. This includes ordering materials as needed and being a liaison between the customer and the company.
- Build relationships with builders to answer service and warranty related questions via email, phone, and/or customer management software.
- Respond to customer service issues in a timely, respectful, and professional manner.
- Assist customers with troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Assist the customer with material quotes, service requests, and miscellaneous orders.
- Communicate with the customer to finalize material needs and pricing.
- Create material orders using an ERP system.
- Take ownership of customer issues and follow through to resolution.
- Review order documents for thoroughness and clarity.
- Calculate quantities of materials needed for interior and exterior completion.
- Upload material quantities to the ERP system for Supply Chain to place orders.
- All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree, or 2-5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and relevant working experience in material estimating, customer service or sales within the residential home building industry preferred.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Programs.
- Experience with Vendor Quoting software programs and configurators.
