DescriptionJoin our Supply Chain Operations team - manage inventory, procurement, logistics, and more - and help drive efficiency, cost savings, and seamless delivery of quality products. The Materials Control team manages raw and fabricatedmetals, ensuring prompt order fulfillment and accurate inventory. They handle daily metal cycles, issue and receive materials, cut for orders, and collaborate across teams to resolve issues. The Materials Control Expeditor provides essential administrative support to the department and/or manager. Responsibilities include general clerical tasks, receptionist duties, and project-based assignments, while maintaining a professional company image during in-person and phone interactions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Consistently adhere to company attendance policies.
  • Perform daily metal cycle counts and manage metal inventory.
  • Carry out general clerical duties such as photocopying, emailing, and filing.
  • Distribute metals to relevant departments and store them in designated areas.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with various departments throughout the company.
  • Investigate and resolve issues that may arise in daily tasks.
  • Provide support on project-based assignments as directed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong verbal communication skills with appropriate telephone etiquette.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to assist in different tasks and areas as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using a micrometer for precise measurement.
  • Previous experience in inventory management or materials handling.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
