Responsibilities
- Running processes to manage our recycled materials for their full lifecycle from our clients, to finished jewelry, and refining.
- Precious metal identification and organization using a variety of metal testing techniques.
- Liaising with precious metal refiners.
- Assisting clients in vintage resale.
- Researching vintage pieces and comps.
- Tracking daily gold prices, recycling costs for precious metals.
- Developing and cultivating dealer relationships.
- Coordinating with our appraiser or relevant certifying bodies regarding gemstones that need further identification or valuation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in fine jewelry.
- Minimum availability of 20 hours per week.
- Excellent command of fine jewelry and knowledge of common fine jewelry fabrication techniques.
- A passion for vintage/antique jewelry.
