Materials Coordinator - Danos, LLC : Job Details

The Materials Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products and inventory accuracy. Also responsible for other daily operations functions of the warehouse which includes various clean-up and housekeeping activities.

• Coordinate supply of materials from the initial demand identification to use with focus on OCTG.
• Acts as liaison with internal customers to help identify demand requirements.
• Work with other areas of business including coordinators, expeditors and warehouse/yard operations to ensure smooth product flow.
• Work with engineering department to confirm material specifications; request updates to material master as necessary.
• Help identify replacement parts and promote use of current inventory when possible.
• Monitor supplier's delivery dates to ensure all delivery dates are met and expedite materials as needed.
• Utilize reports identifying delivery status information and maintain stakeholder/user communication any issues.
• Organize and coordinate staging of materials as well as oversee any other post-receipt activities such as fabrication, assembly, make-up/break up and kitting.
• Where necessary, coordinate appropriate inspection and testing of received materials and equipment.

• Two-year degree and 1 year work experience preferred.
• Experience working in an operations environment is preferred, including knowledge and use of handheld scanners and lift truck certification.
• Attention to details.
• ERP System Experience (i.e: SAP).
• Problem solving.
