Materials Engineer - Acro Service : Job Details

This position will be for 1st shift (7 am to 3:30 pm but can be flexible). Overtime would be minimal.

See attachment for job duties/requirements. Materials Engineering degrees are a great option. Manager is open to recent grad candidates who are willing to learn. Candidates will spend most of the time (roughly 80% of their day) working in the shop floor environment. Lifting to 25 lbs. a few times a day is also required.

Notes from the manager: I am looking for either someone with a materials science/engineering degree (particularly with metal emphasis) or someone with a manufacturing background. They don't have to have a 4-year degree. This position has a lot of hands-on work including cutting and preparing metal samples along with testing and analysis so candidates must have experience in a manufacturing setting. Looking for local candidates only.

Will need metatarsals for first day, business casual dress code. No travel associated with this position. Person may drive a Deere owned Gator after successfully completing training. Visa sponsorship is not available, now, or soon, for this position. Interviews will take place onsite or through MS Teams and the position will start onsite on the first day. Cross border work is not permitted for this role
