We are looking for a qualified Materials Handler for our Greeneville, Tennessee facility. The Materials Handler, under the direction of the Group Leader, is responsible for all material handler duties to ensure quick and effective availability of goods, maintaining parts availability for production areas, and responsible for all shipping duties to get products shipped in a timely manner. The Materials Handler's duties include but are not limited to: 1. Operate equipment and maintain activities of transporting product throughout the facility with a focus on optimizing safety, quality, and productivity. 2. Perform usual inspections of all pallets/materials, remove, replace and/or repair defective or damaged finished good and/or materials prior to loading trucks. 3. Perform routine pre-and-post inspections of forklift equipment to ensure equipment is operating correctly. Report any repairs needed. 4. Consistently demonstrate and incorporate principles of safety for self and others int all daily activities. 5. Attend meetings when participation is necessary. 6. Participate in job related training 7. Participate and engage in continuous improvement activities 8. Maintain work area actively participating/supporting the companies 5S program.
