Materials Handler - Calspan : Job Details

We are looking for a motivated Materials Handler to be responsible for handling, warehousing material and timely reporting of material transactions in support of inventory control at our St. Paul location.

Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities Listed Below Compensation and position level commensurate with education and experience.

• Carry out material movement activity by processing request and supply orders. Pull material and inventory per pick-list to fulfill job kits and stages accordingly.
• Maintain inventory control within the ERP system by providing accurate stock location, printing request, recording quantity of materials received and/or distributed. Assists in counting of physical inventory.

• Receive material and route material accordingly.

• Accurately pick inventory and prepare item(s) for shipment.

Qualifications:

Preferred Education / Experience:

• Associate degree in related discipline
• 3+ years of experience or
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to above
• Valid drivers license

Preferred Knowledge / Ability:

• Experienced in operating a forklift, floor jack, banding, and stacker equipment
• Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and basic computer skills preferred
• Self-starter ability to work independently with little supervision
• Strong communication, organizational, time management, and basic mathematical skills
