Summary You will serve as a MATERIAL HANDLER in the Shipping and Receiving Section, Distribution Management Office of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON. Responsibilities You will receive, ship, inspect and accept deliveries, to include Parcel Post, United Parcel Service (UPS) and registered mail for storage and/or issuance of materials received. You will load and unload railroad cars, trucks and other conveyances. You will move property to and from receiving, shipping, parcel post, and storage areas utilizing forklifts up to with 30,000 pound's capacity, pallet jacks, hand trucks and trucks up to 3 tons, as well as warehouse tractor with trailers. You will check property against a Government Bill of Lading (GBL), Commercial Bill of Lading (CBL) and other shipping documents for quantity, condition, and discrepancies. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, 3-ton trucks, and warehouse tractor with trailers to receive and transport materials.
