Job Summary:
Ensure ordering, receiving and distribution of supplies for Hospital while maintaining professional relationships with department, vendors and customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Assure inventory of supplies is available to meet the needs of our customers.
* Anticipate needs for routine and special order items.
* Assist internal customers in shopping for necessary services, supplies, and capital equipment needs in most cost effective and efficient ways possible.
* Develop a budget and operate department in compliance with budget.
* Assist in purchase decisions and coordinate major plans such as furniture and other equipment.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Basic computer knowledge
* Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
* Education - High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor degree preferred.
* Work Experience - Three to five years experience in materials management with some supervisory, hospital setting preferred.
