Be part of our mission to Advance Life Around the World.Dura-Line, an Orbia Business, is seeking a seasoned Materials Manager in McAlester, OK with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production/shipping. We are looking for an individual well-versed in Shipping & Receiving, with expertise in implementing a visual Kanban system, managing finished goods master schedules, initiating just-in-time programs, and coordinating purchasing and supplier activities with production schedules.What We Offer You for Your Hard Work:*

Benefits start on day one!What You'll Do:* Ensure Effective & Open Communication:* Maintain an open-door policy to foster engaged and efficient teams.* Conduct daily GEMBA walks, coaching associates, leading teams, collaborating with cross-functional departments, executing best practices, and delegating tasks to appropriate associates.* Inventory Control & Management:* Oversee and monitor the inventory & purchasing department.* Conduct cycle counts, monitor stock levels, manage distribution supplies, and build relationships with vendors.* Complete necessary weekly and monthly operational reporting.* Drive Continuous Improvement:* Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing environment to execute lean initiatives.* Prioritize safety as the top priority and maintain a collaborative team approach, balancing quality, safety, morale, productivity, and cost for positive results.* Teamwork Makes the Dream Work:* Collaborate daily with a skilled plant team and corporate team.* Manage the Shipping & Receiving Department for delivery tracking, logistical issues, receiving process management, and root cause analysis investigations.* Empowerment and Development:* Bring your abilities and expertise to develop key programs.* Influence and develop a high-functioning team and collaborate with peers to execute best practices.* Daily Operations Oversight:* Manage scheduling, local vendor pricing, inventory, Purchase Orders, Req creation, and shipping within the plant to ensure on-time deliveries of products to customers while minimizing inventory dollars and maximizing accuracy.Requirements:* High level of organization, excellent communication, and coordination skills in a safe and effective manner to drive continuous improvement and ensure processes are implemented and followed.* Proven logistics skills and knowledge in the manufacturing industry.* Degree in logistics or supply chain management or equivalent relevant work experience.* Proactive boots-on-the-ground mindset.* Experience in Microsoft products and ERP system (SAP) for Monthly Operation Reports (MOR), data management & integrity, and preparing and reporting operational KPIs.* Proactive leader to ensure complete cycle counts and accurate inventory levels.Why Join Dura-Line?At Dura-Line, we offer a rewarding work environment with comprehensive benefits starting on day one.
