Contract: W2, 9 Months
Location: Westborough, MA (On-site)
Pay Range: $50-56/hour dependent on YOE
Brief Summary:
Join the Robotics Manufacturing & Technical Operations team, where you will play a critical role in streamlining supply chain and production control processes for high-volume manufacturing and new product introductions. This role focuses on material management, process optimization, and ensuring efficient end-to-end material flow to support next-gen robotics manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Engineer end-to-end material flows from supplier receipt to line-side delivery for optimal production efficiency.
- Develop a Plan for Every Part (PFEP) to manage part numbers, quantities, suppliers, storage, and replenishment plans.
- Establish visual management systems and SOPs aligned with PFEP for production floor operations.
- Maintain and update production spreadsheets, communicating job/work order statuses and clear-to-build information.
- Identify and resolve material flow issues to ensure timely production and shipment.
- Schedule, plan, and stage materials/kits for production and testing areas.
- Implement supermarket replenishment plans to avoid overstock and shortages.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or a related field within a manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of advanced planning strategies and replenishment processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects.
- Proficient in supply chain management tools and technologies.
- Proficient in SQL and data visualization to drive key insights (Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma process improvement methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Kinaxis Author or Advanced User certification.
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and process optimization.
