Position Title: Materials SchedulerReports to: Material ManagerWork Location: Maplewood Facility – Holland, MI We have an exciting opportunity at our Maplewood facility for a problem solver, a change agent who is excited about taking Motus to the NEXT level. The Materials Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling materials and services to ensuring all projects are on schedule. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Scheduling of materials and services to ensure 100% final product delivery while minimizing inventory, handling and logistics costs
- Review and communicate daily and weekly material requirements for both assembled and supplied products
- Prepare and release forecasted material requirements for all products as required
- Work with engineering and operations to assist in coordination of engineering/process changes and minimization of obsolete materials and at-risk inventory
- Maintain required parameter information for all products
- Coordinate the shipping and receipt of both standard and non-standard inbound/ outbound shipments to support plant operations and customer requirements
- Management and verification of inventory planning and control methods and operations.
- Conformance to all BOS and TS requirements applicable to position
- Maintain Bill of Materials and add required parameters
- Reconcile all issues regarding inventory, delivery and cost with both customer and supplier as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of manufacturing environment experience
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving process
- Knowledge of a Material Requirement Planning system
