Location: Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time

In this role, youll play a critical part in developing and optimizing biomaterials, with a large focus on electrospinning technologies. What Youll Be Doing

  • Lead the development of biomaterials using electrospinning techniques to create nanofibers and advanced scaffolds for applications such as tissue engineering, drug delivery, and filtration.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on client-driven projects involving polymers, composites, and advanced materials for diverse industries.
  • Design experiments, analyze data, and troubleshoot processes to improve material performance and optimize production.
  • Use advanced characterization tools (e.g., SEM, FTIR, DLS, surface science techniques) to evaluate material properties.
  • Provide technical expertise and work closely with customers to understand their needs and help develop tailored solutions.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and new research directions.

What Were Looking For

  • B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. We have several positions available for candidates at different levels.
  • Hands-on experience with electrospinning, ideally working with biomaterials or polymers.
  • Strong background in materials characterization and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a passion for creative, practical solutions.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across multiple projects and customer engagements.
  • Effective communication skills and comfort working with clients to meet their technical needs.
