Our client, a leading organization in the materials management industry, is seeking a Materials Specialist I to join their team. As a Materials Specialist I, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the shipping and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Materials Specialist I

Location: OAK HARBOR, WA

Pay Range: $18 p.h

What's the Job?

  • Pick, inspect, and pack parts per pick ticket following 1 piece flow.
  • Build 10 packs and light kitting via work orders.
  • Manifest domestic and international shipments via freight carriers websites and TRAX system.
  • Conduct cycle counts at least twice a week.
  • Maintain finished goods warehouse cleanliness and organization.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate computer literacy.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and walk on concrete floors for a full day.
  • Possess a valid US Drivers License.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and think independently.
