Materials Specialist - Russell Tobin : Job Details

Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking Materials Specialist to work for our client in the retail industry. Apply now for consideration!

Contract: 3 Months

Location: New York, NY (HYBRID)

Pay Range: 42-47/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Individual contributor position responsible for the quality of colors and fabrics including garments and components to assure final product quality.
• Assist in the technical development, pre-production and cataloguing of all fabrics and colors through to production.
• Visit company stores on regular basis to monitor the quality and consistency of fabrics and color under store lighting conditions.
• Typically reports to manager of Textile Technology.
• Typically directs Assistant Textile Technologist.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in technical education, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years experience in fabric and color development
