Contract: Nov 2024 - May 2025

Location: New York, NY (hybrid)

Pay Rate: $25-$30/hour DOE on W2

Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Individual contributor position responsible for the quality of colors and fabrics including garments and components to assure final product quality.
• Assist in the technical development, pre-production and cataloguing of all fabrics and colors through to production.
• Visit company stores on regular basis to monitor the quality and consistency of fabrics and color under store lighting conditions.
• Typically reports to manager of Textile Technology.
• Typically directs Assistant Textile Technologist.

Requirements:

• College degree in technical education, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years experience in fabric and color development.
• Experience in development of apparel raw materials (knits, wovens, sweaters).
• Solid written and verbal communication.
• PLM Experience (Centric would be huge PLUS)
• Organization: Both physical RM libraries and digital record keeping.
