**Job Title: Stationary Engineer**
**Job Description**
+ The Stationary Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of various mechanical systems and equipment within a facility.
+ This includes, but is not limited to, chillers, steam boilers, water treatment systems such as reverse osmosis or hydromax, HVAC systems, and building maintenance systems (BMS).
+ The individual in this role will perform preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
+ Operate, maintain, and repair chillers, steam boilers, water treatment systems, HVAC systems, and building maintenance systems.
+ Execute work orders, including general preventive maintenance tasks such as greasing motors and changing motor belts.
+ Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend solutions to ensure optimal performance.
+ Conduct troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and systems.
+ Document all maintenance activities and repairs accurately in the system.
+ Perform safety rounds, record data from rounds and equipment inspections, and conduct water testing for pH levels.
**Required Skills**
+ Must have a Maryland 1st Grade Stationary Engineer OR DC 3rd Grade Stationary Engineer License.
+ License must be active and in good standing.
+ Candidates without that specific license or without an active license will not be considered.
